The official site says the rooms connect by tatami to an “ochanoma” lounge, so that each floor becomes a ryokan of its own.
On the top floor is Otemachi Onsen, a natural hot spring from 1,500 m underground — a strongly salty spring rich in the minerals of seawater and seaweed trapped deep below ground.
