HOTELMILL introduces hotels in Japan to visitors from abroad, chosen for their interior design. If you run a hotel — or know one — whose space is worth the trip, tell us.

What we list

Hotels and ryokan designed by architects or design firms, historic buildings restored with care, and hotels whose interiors draw on local crafts and culture. We write every page from the hotel's official information and use official photos, with sources stated.

How it works

1. Send the hotel's name and official website through the contact form.
2. We check the official information and photos, and reply by email.
3. If we can list it, we publish an English page with photos, check-in times, directions and the address in Japanese.

Every hotel we list has an English page with interior photos and the address in Japanese. Many visitors look for an English page before they book; you are welcome to link to yours from your website or social media. Replace your-hotel with the address of your page:

If your website states check-in times, large bath hours, tattoo rules, payment methods or English support, we show them on your page. If details change, tell us through the contact form and we will update the page.
